Creative Director

Born in London, raised across Hong Kong and Seoul, educated in Los Angeles. That path across cultures and disciplines, architecture at SCI-Arc and graphic design at Art Center College of Design, built a perspective that no single city or school could have produced on its own.

West + East is where that perspective does its work. The practice spans brand identity, brand strategy, and creative direction, with every engagement rooted in the same process: deep research and cultural analysis before anything is designed. Understanding the market, the audience, and the competitive landscape isn't preliminary work. It is the work. The design that follows is more precise because of it, and more effective because it was never made on assumption.

What separates the studio is range, not just across industries, but across the line between East and West. That means understanding how a brand needs to feel in a Korean context versus an international one, how cultural nuance shapes visual language, and how to build something that translates without losing what made it specific in the first place.

AI is a core part of how the studio operates. Not as a shortcut, but as a tool for expanding what's possible within a project. From AI-assisted content production and motion to generative workflows that accelerate research, concepting, and output, there is an ongoing commitment to integrating new technology in ways that raise the quality of the work rather than replace the thinking behind it. The creative landscape is moving fast. Staying ahead of it is part of the job.

The goal for every client is the same. A brand that is strategically grounded, visually distinctive, and built to grow.
